Here at Glos HOC we actively promote our members to practice safe riding and take on board anything that may mean the difference between life and death.  One such scheme is the Crash Card scheme.  This is a scheme backed both by the police and ambulance services nationwide.

The idea of the crash cards is that the cards fit inside your helmet and carry any information that the emergency services may need to help you quickly.  The cards are indicated by a green spot on your helmet.  A simple solution for what can often be a difficult situation.

Bike Safe is a police led motorcycle project that is run by most forces throughout the UK.

The main aim is to reduce the number of bikers being hurt on the roads. We think that riding should be fun and by improving skills, knowledge and hazard awareness it will hopefully make riding safer and more enjoyable.
